We’re a small operation, but we take your satisfaction seriously (and we do actually read your emails). Here’s what you need to know:

Shipping

All shirts are printed on demand, which means they’ll ship out in 2–5 business days. We’ll send tracking once it’s on the way. Depending on which print on-demand centre they are shipped from (US or Canada) the shipping can take anywhere from 5-10 days. 

🤷 Why Some Shirts Ship from the U.S.

At Bitter Cotton, we care a lot about the shirt you wear — the fit, the feel, the weight, the attitude. Unfortunately, some of the best blanks out there just aren’t available to ship within Canada (yeah, we’re side-eyeing you, fashion supply chain).

So here’s the deal:

• Some of our shirts ship from Canada — no duties, no surprise fees, just straight-up good vibes.

• Others ship from the U.S. because the fabric, cut, or vibe was too good to leave behind. For those, Canadian customers might see additional taxes, duties, or import fees. We know, it sucks — we hate it too. 

🥇 But trust us — when the shirt hits, it hits. We wouldn't have included them if we didn't love them. 

🚩 We’ll always flag which is which so you’re not caught off guard.

Returns & Exchanges

Every shirt is made just for you, so we can’t accept returns for things like buyer’s remorse or sizing mistakes. That said, if your shirt arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace it—no drama, no gaslighting.

Size Guide

Check the size guide on each product page before you order. Our tees are unisex unless stated otherwise—if you like it baggy, size up. If you want it fitted, stay true.

TL;DR

• Made-to-order = no waste, no overstock.
• No returns unless we messed up.
• Some shirts ship from Canada, others from the U.S.—that’s why you might see split shipping or two tracking numbers.
• Taxes and duties might apply from those shirts shipping from the US.
• Be nice. We love you.
